Jake Locrotondo
Jake Locrotondo is a 22-year-old actor, writer, and filmmaker based in South Florida, known for his emotionally-charged storytelling and ambition. He wrote and directed With Love, Maria, a psychological short film that explores themes of guilt, loss, and choice. With nearly three years of experience in the film industry, Jake continues to develop a diverse body of work that highlights his passion for both performance and visual storytelling, carving a path for himself to succeed.

Chandler Champion
Chandler Champion is a 23-year-old actor and filmmaker based in Woodstock, Georgia, known for his emotionally raw storytelling and grounded approach to character-driven cinema. His work often explores themes of guilt, faith, and redemption through dark, gothic worlds that reflect the human struggle between sin and salvation.
He has written and directed several short films, including The Phantom Ronin, The Owl, and Kill Vivian Rose—each delving into the complexities of morality and identity through visually haunting and spiritually charged narratives. Chandler is the founder of Weeping Angel Studios, a creative banner dedicated to telling stories about people confronting their demons and learning to overcome them.
A Note From The Director
“Tumbleweed: A Walk in High Cotton” is the prequel to my short film Tumbleweed, exploring the harsh realities of life and the gray areas between good and evil. This story isn’t about being a bad person, it’s about people who’ve been dealt with the bad luck of life. My goal with this film is to create a powerful emotional connection between the audience and these characters, drawing them into a tragic event that will leave a lasting impact.
